What is Realtime
Realtime at its simplest is a new way of communicating ideas in three dimensions, where the communication tool can go on to become a sales tool, a navigation tool, an educational tool, or even a large scale utilities monitoring and maintenance tool.
Utilising game engine technology, we are able to create immersive digital experiences usable across a wide range of mediums, from large format digital projection to mobile devices.
Immersive
Incorporating current interface technology, such as touch screens and data from sensor input, the user is engaged with the created 3D world in a realtime visualisation that can convey simulated reality, like a building or physical space, with data overlays that enhance the world with rich information.
Virtual
Virtual spaces provide us with a way of interrogating the world around us with a more sustainable approach. By simulating reality with real-time information gathered through the global web, networks or local data sources, we are able to graphically virtualise a wide range of information.
With our knowledge of CAD systems, design fundamentals, web technologies and mobile devices, we are able to create virtual environments that are compatible across the majority of available operating systems.
Environments
We create light-weight browser based applications, mobile device applications for iOS and Android, or heavy weight graphic environments to run on PC or Mac.
Created environments can be accurate representations of the physical world, usable by architects, surveyors or designers and clients to interact with a design before its construction. Geo-location information can also be incorporated for urban scale interactions. These accurate representations can be linked to the real world through sensor data, for monitoring the environment, and has potential as a design life cycle tool controlled by a facilities management branch.
Environments can also be representative, using visual analogies to convey large data sets in graphically interactive virtual spaces. Databases and tables of information can be linked to 2D and 3D objects in our virtual environments to reduce complex data sets to visually manageable objects.
Applications
The application of ineni’s Realtime technology is limited only by the imagination, however we have seen significant interest in the following areas: Exciting new housing estates, commercial developments, and high-rise apartment living spaces.
ineni Realtime grabs the attention of potential buyers and provides them with not only the ability to walk in and around an unbuilt design, they are then even able to share the experience of moving around their new purchase with members of their family, downloaded easily onto their personal mobile devices.
Visionary public works projects
Community consultation is all about idea communication. ineni’s Realtime software provides an engaging and information rich tool to allow any grand vision to be understood. When integrated with social media and other strong feedback methods, Realtime creates an opportunity for truly democratic design, where the communities are far more likely to accept a new work that they themselves helped define. Realtime of course has the ability to include as much, or as little detail as desired, allowing for the scope of a discussion to be defined and controlled, from conception to finished product.
Simplifying complex datasets
Whether its the human genome or nationwide electricity usage data, Realtime provides a new means with which to communicate the complex ideas. ineni’s Realtime is flexible enough to portray abstract forms and be linked to live datasets.
